Join Mahan Family Wines from February 16th-19th, 2023, as we travel to one of the hottest wine areas in the United States — Temecula, California wine country, approximately an hour’s drive from San Diego.
This region’s charm is the result of top-quality wines and a picturesque landscape luring both Hollywood icons and wine lovers, alike. There are currently over 40 wineries throughout the Temecula AVA, the best of which we have hand-selected to explore during our three-night stay.
Experience light and crisp whites, roses, luscious and buttery Chardonnays, rich, age-worthy reds, and sparkling wines with Mahan Family Wines’ Vinemaker, Phil Mahan, and the Vinemaker’s wife, Ann Mahan.

Arrive. Thursday, Feb 16th.
Set off for San Diego this morning for your Mahan Family Wine Travel tour of Temecula Wine Country. After checking in at The Ponte Vineyard Inn, take time to refresh before joining the group for a tour, tasting and private dinner at boutique producer, Ponte Winery.
Explore. Friday, Feb 17th.
Wake up to the beautiful landscape of Temecula wine country, joining the group in the late morning for a private transfer to and from an exclusive, half-day tour of three hand-picked wineries: Leoness Cellars, Altisima Winery, and Wiens Family Cellars, followed by time to leisurely stroll Old Town Temecula enjoying the shops, wine bars, and breweries.
Delight. Saturday, Feb 18th.
Plan to book a spa service or just relax by the pool today until you head off for another half-day adventure in the Temecula wine country late afternoon, visiting three more hand-selected wineries including Danza del Sol Winery and Robert Renzoni Winery. Following tours and tastings, we will head into Old Town Temecula for dinner, music and dancing.
Depart. Sunday, Feb 19th.
Soak in the final moments of your trip, waking up in time for leisure by the pool before your transfer from The Ponte Vineyard Inn to San Diego International Airport for your return flight home.
