We love hosting dinner parties and so do all of our friends; but we hate the cleanup duty, we hate planning the menu, cleaning up the house ahead of and after the fact. After a lifetime of doing this, we realized – maybe we’re not the only ones.
But we had this problem: Getting a table at a restaurant felt too impersonal, too loud, too complex figuring out the bill at the end of the night. At the same time, our home was too personal – the pre-clean was always hectic (especially after a long work day), deciding on the menu is always a challenge, cleanup duty sucks, the likely scenario of our kids running around disrupting the flow of the evening, plus there’s always politely kicking out the late-stayers.
Something has to give! We wondered “Why isn’t there a happy medium?” Something for people, like us, who love to host, but wish the whole process was just done for us…

And that’s exactly when our solution was born: The done-for-you dinner party at our intimate speakeasy-inspired Wine Bar (Bloomingdale, IL). All the joys of hosting your friends, family, colleagues or clients in a beautiful, unique space… but none of the work.
Note: seasonal availability is also available for hosting your private party at Granite Ridge, our Vineyard Estate in Berrien Springs, MI.
How does it work?
Our goal was to make the whole process as easy as possible on our clients. Here’s a simple breakdown of the process:
Step 1: Reach out to inquire about the availability of our private space for up to 26 of your closest friends, family, colleagues or clients.
Step 2: Select your menu from a range of options from Rustic Italian to Contemporary, deliciousness and allergy-friendly menus guaranteed.
Step 3: On the night of your event, arrive to enjoy your private dining service including your custom wine and dining menu.
Step 4: When you’re done, just head home, we take care of the rest (the post-party clean up and if applicable, politely having the late-stayers leave :)
